Title: | Build A Tour Booking Website – HappyVacation | Authors: | Ngô, Lưu Quốc Đạt | Keywords: | Công nghệ phần mềm;Tour Booking Website;Happy Vacation | Issue Date: | 2022 | Publisher: | Trường Đại học Bách Khoa - Đại học Đà Nẵng | Abstract: | Tourism is undeniably an important economic sector in Vietnam. The tourism economy contributes over 9.2% to the national GDP, creating 2.9 million jobs, of which 927 thousand are direct jobs. Generally, in the period 2015-2019, the tourism industry achieved a high growth rate of 22.7%.[1] However, the Covid-19 pandemic along with the community isolation has halted the well-develop of the tourism industry. After more than 2 years of being almost frozen, Vietnam's tourism industry is now on the verge of returning, and needs a lot of push to quickly return to its pre-pandemic state. Nowadays, information technology has crept into many aspects of human life. The development of software systems, and their application to various industries, is becoming popular and showing high efficiency. With the desire to contribute to promoting the tourism industry in Vietnam, and the knowledge of information technology I have learned, I had the idea to build a website to book tours – HappyVacation. It is a convenient place for domestic and foreign tourists to choose tours and explore tourist attractions in Vietnam. During the project implementation, there is a lot of programming knowledge that I may not have grasped, so mistakes are inevitable. I sincerely hope that you will give us your feedback to make the project better and better. |
