dc.description.abstractAs life develops, the need for automation also increases. Automation plays an increasingly important role in our lives. Automation is widely applied in businesses, in different fields such as automatic assembly lines, mechanical processing, and hydroelectricity. Control systems commonly used to operate the production process include servos, PLCs, etc. to help operate machines and monitor equipment and systems from simple to complex... with advantages such outstanding points. These enterprises are more inclined to integrate automation systems into their production enterprises. The objective of this topic is to understand how to operate automation equipments in hydroelectric power plant, write a control program for automatic butterfly valve system in hydroelectric power plant, build a SCADA monitoring interface to monitor and operate the automation system remotely. As a result, this project has successfully design a butterfly valve control and monitoring system in a hydroelectric power plant and applied it in practice.vi
