dc.description.abstractThe Digital Trunked Radio system is the system where huge innovative features are vailable as well as operating through the IP local area network infrastructure in that administrators can monitor users, groups and resources available at the system. Furthermore, in advanced infrastructure, the speed of processing data between users becomes more accurate and faster through switches and routers. In addition, the system also deployed servers to provide services to users such as voice file storage, user authorization and resource assignment. The management and monitoring of users as well as user activities will be through the integrated software in the system. Because the new system is aimed at providing airport communications, security and availability must be a top priority. Network security, therefore, is configured and deployed to ensure the highest level security and redundancy to avoid disrupting and data loss. Another feature of the system is the wider coverage, so the connection between users will become wider and ready to accommodate communications activities for the entire airport area. Within the outstanding features and importance of this new system, it has solved the problems of the old system and moreover satisfied the high performance of the airport. In addition, Administrators can reduce the workload due to the functions of management and monitoring through the system, thereby increasing accuracy and efficiency. Finally, because the old system has been used in many groups, it cannot be completely replaced. The system, therefore, has integrated a service compatible with the old system so that the old system can be connected with the digital trunked radio system.vi
