dc.description.tableofcontents | Production and living electricity systems use many sensor devices such as motors, transformers, etc., which not only consume useful power (P (kW) = S * Cosφ) but also consume a large amount of useless power (Q (kVAr) = S * Sinφ), causing damage to the electrical system. Where φ (pronounced phi) is the phase angle between current and voltage. The reactive power component makes the total transmission capacity on the line increase, causing losses, overload, pressure drop, .... The greater the reactive power, the smaller Cosφ. The Electricity Industry stipulates cosφ must be at the lowest level of 0.9. If the cosine is below 0.9, the electricity user will be fined to buy reactive power. Therefore, the research on the cosφ factor compensation is necessary. The inverter circuits have many operating modes such as harmonic control, Micro Grids, Grid Storage, Active Rectifier. In this project we carry out research in VAR mode. The circuit has features: 380-DC VIN, 110 VRMS, 60 Hz, 400-VA Max Output, 20-kHz Switching, but we reduced all parameters to 10 times to be suitable for the research. The project is tested on 2 levels of testing (open loop and close current loop), the obtained resuls is generate sine wave with increasing mesh cosφ. | vi |
