dc.description.abstract | Air pollution causes more than 3 million premature deaths each year, it threatens nearly all large city residents in developing countries. According to Fox News, 80% of the world's cities do not meet World Health Organization (WHO) standards for air quality, which is mainly concentrated in poor countries. The WHO says global urban air pollution levels have increased by 8% despite improvements in some regions. This leads to an increased risk of stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, and a host of respiratory problems. One of the pollutants released into the air by human activities are Particulate Matter. Particulate Matter (PM), are very small solid particles in the form of solid or liquid suspended in gaseous form. Some naturally occurring particles are derived from volcanoes, bushfire dust storms, living plants, and sea vapor. Human activities such as burning fossil fuels in engines, thermal power plants and other industrial activities also generate significant amounts of aerosols. On a global scale, substances from this source currently make up about 10% of the Earth's atmosphere. An increase in airborne fine particles has been linked to health events such as heart disease,[9][10] changes in spectrum function and lung cancer. In order to monitor air quality in cities, this presentation presents the project: "Design and manufacture environmental monitoring device" to assist people in monitoring air environmental indicators for service. research and forecasting projects. With limited time, the model can perform tasks such as collecting data from sensors, transmitting data to the server via LoRaWAN, positioning by GPS, etc. | vi |
